We purchase only sterling choice or higher grade beef. Some of our seafood, such as our salmon, comes to us fresh. Other seafood is frozen when caught. So, it is freshest at your table if we purchase it frozen."

All Sous Kitchen entrées serve four to six people.  Some dishes, like our lasagnas, serve at least eight. Our research shows that preparing 10 meals the Sous Kitchen way saves you at least 20 hours in time spent meal planning, shopping, preparing and cleaning up."

Instead of one family sized entrée, you will have two smaller ones.  There is no additional charge to split entrées at Sous Kitchen but some entrées, such as whole chickens, cannot be split."

This session is designed for the customer with a large freezer who wants to come in once or twice a month.  However, we understand many people have smaller freezers or just want to give us a try.  That is why we offer the 3 meal session.  You can get the same great Sous Kitchen food in just 30 minutes.   "

q[12]="What happens if I need to change my reservation? "
a[12]="We understand that schedules sometimes must be changed and we try to find the best solution for you.  Because we order fresh ingredients for each order, we require at least 72 hours notice for cancellations or postponed reservationswith nocharge. If the cancellation/change is last minute, you can convert your order to a To Go order and arrange a convenient time to pick up your meals.  Cancellation with no notice will result in a cancellation fee (50% of the total cost of your order)."

a[13]="Yes. You and your friend can each order entrées and register for the same session. You can make one reservation, and share the meals by each taking some or splitting them and each taking home half-portions of all the dishes.  Please note that you are bringing a friend in the comments section of your order."
q[14]="How do I know if my food is cooked properly? "
a[14]="We recommend cooking times, but since all ovens and stoves  are unique, we strongly suggest using an internal thermometer to ensure food is  cooked properly. According to the San Mateo County Health Department, food must  be cooked to at least following temperatures and must be held at the  temperature for at least 15 seconds:<p style='margin-left:10px;'>Poultry: 165&deg;F <br />Casseroles: 165&deg;F <br />Stuffing, stuffed meats or fish:  165&deg;F <br />Ground and injected meats: 155&deg;F <br />Pork, Veal, Beef or Lamb: 145&deg;F <br />Seafood: 145&deg;F <br />Cheese, fruits and vegetables:  135&deg;F </p><p>  By purchasing food from Sous Kitchen, you are agreeing to  the terms and conditions outlined on this website.&nbsp; Included in these is an agreement to cook  your meat to the recommended temperature.</p>"

As a rule of thumb, for a six meals, make enough space for two casserole dishes and four full gallon freezer bags."
